About the Chargers
- UAH will travel to Lee looking to snap a four-game road slide. The Chargers are 2-8 on the year away from Huntsville where the team has an impressive 11-2 mark at home, and Saturday's contest marks the final road game of the regular season as UAH will close out the schedule with a pair of home games.
- In February, the Chargers have averaged 57 points per game in the team's three road contests while scoring more than 30 points better than that mark at 87.3 points per contest at Spragins Hall.
- Conner Blasi continues to pace the team – and the Gulf South Conference – with a field goal percentage of 58.1 percent, and that number has been even better in GSC play as he has registered a league-best 61.9 field goal percentage with Delta State's Mike Washington in second at 57.6 percent.
- The GSC standings remain relatively tight with Delta State still in front at 14-3. West Alabama is in second (12-6), just ahead of North Alabama (11-6). Perhaps setting up yet another postseason contest between the two teams, Christian Brothers (10-7) is in fourth, with UAH in fifth with a 9-8 mark.
About the Opponent
- Lee enters Saturday's game with a 9-13 record, and the team is 5-11 in conference play. Eight of the team's loses have come on the road where the team is 0-8 compared to a 9-4 mark in Cleveland. On Thursday night at home, Lee upset West Alabama by a 71-69 score.
- Cory Billingslely leads the Flames as he averages more than 18 points per game on the strength of a 51.9 percent performance from the field. Tyquan Roberts is the only other Flame to score in double figures as he averages 11.3 per night, and Chad Lee paces the team in rebounding with an average of 5.5 per contest.
Series History
- After winning 66-52 earlier this year in Huntsville, UAH now owns a slight 3-2 edge in the all-time series with Saturday's hosts. Ronnie Mack led the Chargers in the victory as he hit five 3s en route to scoring 23 points, while Wayne Dedrick was also in double figures with 13.
