About the Chargers

GAME NOTES
•UAH opens up a three-game homestand after registering a 2-2 mark on its four-game road swing. The stint at home opens with Thursday's visit from West Florida at 7:30 p.m. at Spragins Hall.
•The Chargers will be glad to be back in Huntsville as they own an 8-2 record at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall compared to a 2-6 mark on the road.
•The most significant difference at home is UAH's 3-point field goal percentage which is 45.7 percent in Huntsville -- a much better number than the 30.6 percent the team is shooting on the road. The team has hit 79 more 3s in Huntsville to help the team average 84.4 points per home game.
•Mack connects on 52.3 percent of his attempts inside Spragins Hall, and his scoring average of 17.7 points per game is nearly eight points higher than his road scoring average of 9.8 per contest.
•The team's scoring production over the past five games has been relatively balanced with five players scoring nine points per contest or higher: Dedrick (16.6), Conner Blasi (10.8), Mack (9.6), Seab Webster (9.2) and Greg Gardner (9.0).
•During that span, Gardner has averaged 4.6 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game to go along with the scoring average of 9.0 while logging an average of 31.4 minutes.
•Webster has averaged 25.8 minutes per contest in the past five contests, and the freshman has been strong on the glass with a 5.8 rebounding average -- a number that is aided by his first collegiate double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds in UAH's most recent contest.
•UAH has taken advantage of its trip to the free throw line this season, leading the GSC with a free throw percentage of 77.0 percent, and that mark is also good enough for the team to rank 13th in Division II.
•The Chargers are 9-1 on the season when making more free throws than their opposition while owning an 0-6 mark when hitting less shots at the charity stripe.
•Dedrick leads the GSC at the charity stripe as he is hitting 87.1 percent of his attempts.
•After a tough 1-for-6 day at the line against Delta State on Dec. 21, Blasi has been terrific at the stripe, hitting 35 of his 40 attempts. That stretch includes a perfect 10-for-10 night against Christian Brothers on Jan. 30, and he nailed a pair of crucial free throws late against North Alabama on Jan. 25.
