DOWN THE STRETCH: UAH will wrap up its regular season home slate this week as the Chargers welcome Christian Brothers and Union to Kelly Court at Spragins Hall. The Chargers (18-7, 13-6 GSC) will host CBU at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday before welcoming Union on Senior Day at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

STANDINGS UPDATE: The Chargers remain in a tie for first in the GSC standings as West Alabama is also 13-6 in conference action. Just a game behind in a tie for third place are Union and West Georgia who feature 12-7 records, while Shorter, Christian Brothers and Delta State are all just two games back at 11-8.

REGIONAL IMPLICATIONS: This week's game will also have regional significance as both Christian Brothers (ninth) and Union (fifth) were featured in the first installment of the ever-important NCAA South Region rankings in which the Chargers were ranked fourth.

SUPER SENIORS: Saturday's contest will mark the final regular season home contest for a pair of seniors – Taylor Chapman and Ronnie Mack. The two players have been a part of 87 victories, two trips to the NCAA tournament including a South Region championship in 2012, and a GSC tournament title in 2012.

ON A TEAR: Reigning GSC Freshman of the Week Justin Ward has been superb off the bench of late, averaging 16.3 points per game over a six-game span in which he has registered double figures in five contests. His performance was punctuated by a 30-point outburst against Mississippi College last Saturday.

ABOUT THE BUCS: Christian Brothers visits the Rocket City with a 14-9 record including the aforementioned 11-8 mark in GSC action, and interestingly, CBU is 8-3 on the road while owning just a 6-6 mark in Memphis. Trey Casey leads the Bucs with 17.3 points per contest.

LAST TIME AGAINST CBU: Back on Jan. 12, the Chargers travelled to Memphis and left with a 75-71 victory as Seab Webster paced the team with 25 points while Greg Gardner added 11. Sidy Sal led CBU with 23 points and 10 rebounds, and UAH held Casey to just one shot attempt.

ABOUT THE BULLDOGS: Union goes into the week at 18-7 (12-7 GSC), playing at North Alabama on Thursday before traveling to UAH. The squad – which is 5-4 away from Jackson – is paced by Corieon Pearson's 17.8 points per contest and Marterrace Brock who has a scoring average of 17.8

LAST TIME AGAINST UU: Webster scored a career-best 33 points, leading the Chargers to an 81-73 road victory, while Ashanti Day paced the Bulldogs with 29. Also strong for the Chargers was Preston Herring who had a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards.
