RECENT ACTION: UAH travelled to No. 30 West Florida this past weekend for a three-game, Gulf South Conference series, and the Blue and White came away with a series win thanks to the doubleheader sweep to open the set by consecutive scores of 2-0. The Chargers were tripped up in the finale by a score of 4-2 on Sunday.
 
GSC STANDINGS: The Chargers remain in the top spot of the league standings with a 10-2-1 mark in league games while tabulating an overall record of 14-2-1. Following UAH in the top five in the conference is No. 28 West Georgia (16-6, 10-4 GSC), No. 30 West Alabama (15-9, 9-5 GSC), West Florida (15-9, 9-6 GSC) and North Alabama (13-5, 5-4 GSC).
 
REGIONAL UPDATE: UAH remains in the second spot of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association South Region poll for the third consecutive week, receiving a total of three first-place votes. The Chargers trail only Tampa in the poll, while being followed by Nova Southeastern (19-4), Florida Tech (20-3) and Saint Leo (21-5) in the top five in the region.
 
ARMS RACE: Fifth-year head coach Hunter Royer received several notable outings this past weekend, including shutouts in each game of the doubleheader sweep. Daniel Koger kicked things off with 7.1 shutout innings with 4 K's, followed by Luke Mould with 1.2 scoreless frames to complete the shutout. In game two, Mitchell Wright and Chris Kilpatrick combined for 7.0 shutout innings with two hits allowed and seven strikeouts. The UAH pitching staff has combined for a 3.37 ERA, good for second in the GSC.
 
LOOKING AHEAD: Following the midweeks, UAH will host GSC opponent Delta State for a three-game series. The set will begin on Saturday at 2 p.m. with a doubleheader and will wrap up on Sunday with a single game at 1 p.m. The Chargers are on the road for four games next week, including a trip to Lincoln Memorial and rival North Alabama.
 
MATCHUP HISTORIES: UAH holds an all-time series record of 2-0 against Tuskegee and 5-2 against Trevecca Nazarene. The Chargers topped Tuskegee 11-1 earlier this season, while splitting the season series against Trevecca Nazarene in the 2014 campaign. UAH is 4-0 in non-conference matchups this season.
 
GOLDEN TIGERS PROFILE: Tuskegee owns a 6-10 overall record and a mark of 3-1 within the SIAC, following a series sweep of Lane College this past weekend by scores of 11-1, 11-0 and 6-2. The Golden Tigers bat a collective .282, led by Alexander Henderson who is hitting .395 with five extra-base hits and eight RBI. Tuskegee's pitching staff has combined for a 7.74 ERA.
 
TROJANS PROFILE: TNU enters the week with a 9-9 overall record in the 2015 season, after winning its four-game series at Hillsdale with victories in the first three contests. Trevecca Nazarene currently bats a collective .296 so far, led by five regulars batting above the .300 mark. The Trojans own a team ERA of 5.98.
