Saturday, April 11 | 12 p.m. (DH) | STATSSunday, April 12 | 1 p.m. | STATSMIDWEEK ACTION: The Chargers won all three of their matchups this week at Charger Park , defeating LeMoyne Owen 14-2 and 22-0 in a Tuesday doubleheader and topping Montevallo in walk-off fashion on Wednesday evening by a 10-9 final score in 10 innings.
LAST WEEKEND: UAH was dealt its second GSC series loss of the season against visiting Valdosta State, dropping the opener 12-10 and the finale 6-3. The Blue and White were able to avoid the sweep with a 13-10 win in the second game of the series.

BEST FRESHMAN AGAIN:
AJ Walden earned GSC Freshman of the Week honors for the second consecutive week, batting .333 (7-for-21) with three homers, two doubles and a team-high 15 RBI in three-game series against Miles and Valdosta State. The Albertville, Alabama native had multi-RBI performances in four of the six games played, including a season-high six RBI and his first career grand slam in the opener against Valdosta State.
GSC STANDINGS: The Blue and White dipped to second in the conference with a 15-6-1 record after the series loss to Valdosta State. No. 24 West Alabama (18-5 GSC) leads the league, followed by UAH, West Georgia (16-8 GSC), West Florida (15-9 GSC) and Valdosta State (13-9 GSC) in the top five in the conference.

REGIONAL UPDATE: The Chargers dropped one slot in this week's NCBWA South Region poll as UAH comes in at third with a 26-6-1 overall record. Nova Southeastern (29-6) is in the top spot with six first-place votes, followed by Florida Tech (30-5) in second. Lynn (27-8) and West Alabama (26-8) round out the top five.

POLLING PLACE: UAH is ranked highest at No. 6 by Perfect Game, followed by a No. 9 ranking by D2 Baseball News. Collegiate Baseball Newspaper dropped the Blue and White to No. 11, while the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association rounds out the polls with a No. 12 ranking for the Chargers.
BIG BATS: The Chargers offense ranks in the top 20 in the nation in batting average (.336), home runs (49), homers per game (1.36), runs scored (319) and slugging percentage (.543), while leading the GSC in each of the mentioned categories aside from batting average. The Chargers boast 10 regulars with batting averages above .300 and a total of four starters slugging above .600.
Colton Simbeck leads the bats with 11 homers, good for 14th in the NCAA and first in the GSC.

Tyler Howell as the weekend rotation this past weekend. Koger leads the staff with a 7-1 record and a 2.81 ERA, with Wright not far behind with a 2.94 ERA. Howell is 2-3 on the year with a 6.06 ERA in 32.2 innings.

BULLPEN LEADER: Senior
Luke Mould has been sensational in the 2015 season, boasting a team-leading 0.87 ERA over 31.0 innings pitched. Mould's eight saves this season rank second in the GSC and ninth in the nation, while accumulating a 4-1 record on the mound.

BUCS PROFILE: Christian Brothers enters the weekend with a 9-18 overall record and 4-13 in GSC play, following a non-conference loss to Delta State on Wednesday and a series loss at Union last weekend. The Bucs bat a collective .219, led by Cameron Coker at .313 with 11 runs scored and 16 RBI.
