SENIOR WEEKEND: Eleven Chargers will be playing in their final regular-season homestand this weekend, and UAH will be celebrating each student-athlete's career accomplishments between the first and second game of the doubleheader on the field at Charger Park. The senior class includes Ryan Barnes, Chandler Brock, Cody Burton, Ben Hall, Tyler Howell, Daniel Koger, Brandon Lawing, Luke Mould, Jordan Shusteric, Colton Simbeck and Mitchell Wright. RECENT ACTION: The Blue and White are riding a six-game win streak after defeating Christian Brothers, Montevallo and LeMoyne Owen in last week's slate. In six games, UAH totaled 88 runs, 83 RBI, 28 doubles, four triples, 13 homers and 36 walks, finishing the week with a .539 on-base percentage, a .771 slugging percentage and a .441 batting average (100-for-227).

POLLING PLACE: The Chargers are ranked in the top eight across all four national polls, topping out at No. 5 by Perfect Game. Heading into the weekend, the Chargers offense ranks in the top 10 in the nation in walks (177), batting average (.349), hit by pitch (73), home runs (55), on-base percentage (.449), runs (361), and slugging percentage (.566). GSC'S BEST: Colton Simbeck was named GSC Player of the Week for the first time this season, after batting .480 (12-for-25) in six games over the past week. He slugged 1.080 and reached base at a .536 clip, thanks to four doubles, two triples, three homers and had just one non-extra-base hit. The Loretto, Tennessee native currently leads the GSC in homers (14) and slugging percentage (.990), ranking in the top 10 nationally in both categories. THREES COMPANY: AJ Walden earned his third consecutive GSC Freshman of the Week award on Tuesday, after going 12-for-21 at the plate while also drawing six walks in six games. The Albertville, Alabama native totaled four doubles and three homers during the week, notching all three homers in the second game of the doubleheader against LeMoyne Owen. Walden is second on the roster in doubles (12), home runs (9), RBI (40) and slugging percentage (.722). MARK ON A PROGRAM: Four-year Chargers Chandler Brock and Luke Mould will leave their stamp on the record book as their UAH careers come to a close in the 2015 season.
