The Chargers enter the week at 11-5 and tied for first in the GSC with an 8-3 mark.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: UAH started off the week with an 82-73 win over Christian Brothers before venturing to Florence to take on rival North Alabama, stumbling 119-103 in a high-octane affair.
Seab Webster was strong on the week, averaging 17.0 points to go along with 5.0 rebounds.

AROUND THE GSC: Delta State and West Georgia join the Chargers at the top of the standings as all three teams are 8-3 with 11 league games complete. Valdosta State and North Alabama are just a game back in a tie for fourth, while Union and Christian Brothers are tied for sixth with records of 6-5. UWA would claim that final postseason berth if the tournament started now as the Tigers are in eighth at 5-6.

LEADERS AT THE TURN: Four players are scoring in double figures for the Chargers as the team enters the second half of league action, and
Brandon Roberts paces the team with 13.6 points per game.
Preston Herring is the squad's leader on the glass with 6.4 rebounds per contest, while point guard
Greg Gardner is dishing out a team-high 5.1 assists per game while having turned the ball over just 25 times.

THIEVERY: UAH is averaging 7.6 steals per game since the start of the 2016 calendar year with, and the team has forced the opposition into double figures in turnovers in two of the past five contests. On the season, the Chargers have averaged 6.5 steals per game and currently are fourth in the league with 7.1 steals per contest in GSC match-ups.

ABOUT VALDOSTA STATE: The Blazers travel to Huntsville with an 11-5 record, and the squad is 7-4 in league play. Seven players are averaging in double figures for VSU with Blake Justice's 15.8 points per game leading the squad, while Justin Simon is scoring 10.3 points per contest to go along with a rebounding average of 9.0 boards a night.

SERIES HISTORY: VSU holds a 26-23 advantage in the all-time series, but UAH won the earlier meeting this season by capturing a 102-96 overtime victory in December in Valdosta.
