The Chargers host Delta State on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and then will take on Mississippi College at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: The Chargers won both games last week, defeating Lee 78-66 and winning 96-78 at Shorter.
Seab Webster averaged 19.5 points during the two-game span and became the 23rd member of UAH's 1,000 point club.

AROUND THE GSC: UAH has placed somewhat of a cushion between itself and the rest of the league with five games left on the league docket, holding a three-game advantage over second at the top of the standings. Four teams are tied for second as Union, West Georgia, North Alabama, and Delta State all feature 11-6 marks in conference play.

RANKINGS UPDATE: In the latest national rankings released this week, the Chargers were the first team outside of the NABC Top 25 as the highest team in the receiving votes category, and the team improved its positioning in the D2SIDA Media Poll where the squad is now No. 19.

STREAKING: UAH is now on a six-game win streak which represents the longest string of victories since the team reeled off 10 straight in the 2012-13 season. During the streak, UAH is shooting 44.8 percent while holding the opposition to a scoring average of 68.6 points per game which is substantially lower than UAH's season average of 79.2 points allowed per contest.

MR. CONSISTENCY: Junior transfer
Brandon Roberts has been strong for the Chargers, ranking second on the team in scoring with 13.6 points per game. The Decatur, Alabama, native has scored in double figures in all but five games and has scored at least seven in all of UAH's 22 games, and he is shooting 40 percent or better from the field in 15 games.

ABOUT DELTA STATE: The Statesmen visit Huntsville on Thursday night as the owners of a 16-7 (11-6 GSC) record, and the team is currently on a three-game winning streak. Devin Schmidt leads Delta State, scoring 24.3 points per contest on the strength of 84 made 3-pointers.

SERIES HISTORY: DSU won an overtime classic between the two teams earlier this season, claiming an 82-74 victory that gave the Statesmen a 17-11 edge all-time against the Chargers. Webster led UAH with 18 points and nine rebounds in the setback.

ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: Ahead of Thursday night's game at North Alabama, the Choctaws are 6-13 overall and 5-12 in conference play. Tory Rice is the team's leader, averaging a double-double with 14.0 points and 11.8 rebounds per game.
