BACK ON THE ROAD: The No. 23 Chargers will put their eight-game winning streak on the line this week as they go on the road for the final time in regular season play, heading to Christian Brothers for a 7 p.m. contest on Thursday and then traveling to Union for a 4 p.m. showdown on Saturday. UAH is 19-5 on the season including a 16-3 mark in GSC play.
 
RECAPPING LAST WEEK: UAH picked up another pair of wins, defeating Delta State 85-79 before securing a 73-63 victory over Mississippi College. The wins allowed UAH to secure the top spot in the GSC tournament while giving the program its sixth regular season title in seven years.
 
HISTORY MADE: UAH became the only team in GSC history to record six regular season titles in seven years, including division winners and ties at the top that are not broken.
 
AROUND THE GSC: With UAH having secured the top seed in the tournament, supporters of the Chargers will now turn their attention to the battle for the eighth seed in the tournament. Currently Shorter and West Alabama are tied for the position with 7-12 records, while Lee is one game back at 6-13.
 
RANKINGS UPDATE: The Chargers checked in at No. 23 in the latest NABC poll while ranking No. 17 in the D2SIDA media rankings, but the rankings that matter most will be released for the first time this year later on Wednesday when the NCAA announces its official regional rankings that will be used at the end of the season to seed the national tournament.
 
FROM DOWNTOWN: UAH is excelling from beyond the arc, ranking 14th in Division II in 3-pointers per game with 10.7 made per contest while the team is also 27th in the country with a 3-point field goal percentage mark of 39.6 percent. Both of those numbers also lead the GSC.
 
SHARING THE ROCK: With 423 total assists on the year on 688 made field goals, the Chargers are assisting on 61.5 percent of their successful shots, and the team ranks 10th in Division II in assists per game with 17.6. Additionally, Greg Gardner continues to rank among the nation's best at the point, ranking 11th in the country in assists per game and third in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio.
 
ABOUT CHRISTIAN BROTHERS: CBU enters Thursday night's game at 11-14 (9-10 GSC), and the team has dropped three straight. The Bucs are paced offensively by Jeff Lark who is scoring 17.8 points per game, while Drew Hildreth owns a team-best 7.8 rebounds per contest to go along with 14.1 points per contest.
 
SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers hold a 20-7 lead in the all-time series, and it was UAH who won the previous meeting this year by claiming an 82-73 victory in Huntsville on Jan. 11. Five players scored in double figures for UAH that night with Preston Herring's 15 leading the way.
 
ABOUT UNION: The Bulldogs start the week at 17-8 (11-8 GSC), and the team is especially strong at home where Union owns an 11-0 mark that it will still hold on Saturday as the team travels to North Alabama on Thursday night. Marterrace Brock paces the Bulldogs with an impressive 20.3 points per contest.
 
SERIES HISTORY: UAH has won all eight previous meetings between the two teams including a thrilling 105-101 double overtime win back on Jan. 9. In that contest, Brandon Roberts scored 22 points – including the 3-pointer that tied the game at the end of regulation – to lead a group of seven Chargers that scored in double figures.
