REGULAR SEASON FINALE: The UAH men's basketball team will close out the 2015-16 regular season this weekend, welcoming rival North Alabama to Kelly Court at Spragins Hall for a 4 p.m. contest. The Chargers enter the finale at 20-6 (17-4 Gulf South Conference).

BRYANT BANK BASKETBALL BLACKOUT: All fans seated in the lower level of Spragins Hall on Saturday will receive a special t-shirt courtesy of Bryant Bank.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: The Chargers concluded regular season road action last week, venturing to Christian Brothers where the team won 76-70 before falling 92-84 at Union.

TOURNAMENT FIELD SET: UAH has known for a while now that it would be the No. 1 seed at the 2016 GSC Men's Basketball Championships, and now the Chargers know that they will welcome Shorter to Huntsville on Super Tuesday. The contest is slated for a 7 p.m. start.

RANKINGS UPDATE: The Chargers maintained their position at the top of the ever important NCAA regional rankings this week, and the team also stayed in the D2SIDA media poll at No. 20 while receiving votes in the latest NABC Division II Coaches Poll.

HONORING THE SENIORS: Saturday's contest will mark the final regular season game at Spragins Hall for UAH's three seniors – Greg Gardner, Preston Herring and Spencer Palmer. During their time in the Rocket City, the Chargers have won three regular season GSC titles and the conference tournament last year and have made the NCAA tournament twice including a Round of 16 appearance in 2013.

SURGING SEAB: Seab Webster has had a terrific 2016 calendar year, increasing his scoring average from 11.5 points per game at the start of January to its current team-best 15.5 points per contest. The junior scored a season-high 33 points during this stretch on Jan. 30 at West Alabama.

ABOUT THE LIONS: North Alabama visits the Rocket City with a 16-11 (13-8 GSC) record, and the squad is 4-7 away from Florence on the year. John Fletcher paces UNA, scoring 15.7 points per game.

SERIES HISTORY: UNA took a 36-27 advantage in the all-time series with the Chargers back in January when the Lions won a high-scoring 119-103 decision. Gardner led UAH in the setback, scoring 22 points as one of five that reached double figures.
