The Chargers boast a 15-5 (12-3 Gulf South Conference) record entering the week.

RANKINGS UPDATE: The Chargers worked their way back into one of the national polls this week, checking in at No. 24 in this week's D2SIDA Top 25.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: The Chargers picked up two quite important road wins last week, defeating West Georgia 83-73 on Thursday and winning in overtime at West Alabama by a 74-68 score on Saturday. In the Saturday contest,
Seab Webster recorded the most 3-pointers hit by a Charger this century with nine en route to a 33-point performance.

AROUND THE GSC: UAH now has a two-game lead at the top of the GSC standings with West Georgia and North Alabama tied for second at 10-5. There is also a tie for fourth as Union and Delta State are both 9-6, and Valdosta State and Christian Brothers find themselves tied for sixth at 8-7.

MILESTONE WATCH: Junior
Seab Webster is on the verge of becoming the program's 23rd member of the 1,000 point club as he currently sits on 988 career points. Should the Madison County High School product breach the mark, he would be the first Charger to do so since Zane Campbell joined the elite group on Jan. 14, 2012.

SHARING THE BALL: UAH is one of the best teams in the country in the assist statistical category, ranking 15th in assists per game with 17.4 and 24th with 347 total assists. Individually,
Greg Gardner is fourth in Division II with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.79, while the senior's 113 total assists this season ranks 17th in the country.

ABOUT LEE: The Flames enter Thursday's game at 6-14 overall and 4-11 in conference play while holding a 3-5 mark at home. Lee is led by Keevin Tyrus who is scoring 14.9 points per contest to go along with a rebounding mark of 7.2 per game.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH holds a 6-3 advantage in the all-time series against the Flames after picking up an 88-75 victory in Huntsville on Dec. 19.
Justin Ward was quite impressive in the win, hitting seven 3-pointers and scoring 27 points on his way to earning GSC Player of the Week status.

ABOUT SHORTER: Shorter enters the week – which starts with a visit from North Alabama on Thursday – at 11-10 and 6-9 in conference play, and the Hawks are 5-2 at home. Phil Taylor is an impressive leader for the Hawks, averaging 26.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per contest.

SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers lead 6-2 all-time against SU, and it was UAH who won the earlier meeting this year by knocking off the Hawks 100-97 in the Rocket City on Dec. 17. Five Chargers scored in double figures in that game with
Brandon Roberts going 8-for-10 from the field to score a team-best 23 points.
