THREE-GAME HOMESTAND: The No. 19 UAH men's basketball team is set for a stretch of three straight at home as the team welcome Delta State on Thursday at 7:30 p.m., hosts Mississippi College on Saturday at 4 p.m., and battles rival North Alabama at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers are 5-1 at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall, and the team is 13-4 (9-2 GSC) overall.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: After giving
Lennie Acuff his 500th career victory with an 83-75 win over Shorter on Thursday, UAH went on the road and outlasted Lee 101-94.
Brandon Roberts was terrific in the Lee contest, going 10-for-13 from the field and 12-of-14 at the stripe to score a career-best 34 points while reaching the 1,000-point plateau for his career spanning his time at Samford and UAH.

AROUND THE GSC: The Chargers are presently a half-game behind Valdosta State – who won on Monday of this week to move to 10-2 – at 9-2, and that represents a two-game lead over Christian Brothers who is in third at 8-4. Delta State is fourth with a 7-4 record, while West Florida sits fifth at 6-6. UNA, Lee, and West Georgia would round out the field if the postseason started today as all are 5-6.

LEADING THE WAY: With the team halfway through its conference slate,
Seab Webster leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 17.4 points per game to go along with 8.7 boards per contest, while Roberts is also averaging double figures at 14.9 points per game.
Troy Saxton is shooting a team-best 61.6 percent, and the senior has also dished out a team-high 3.4 assists per game.

ABOUT DELTA STATE: The Statesmen come to Huntsville having dropped a pair of road games to slip to 12-5 (7-4 GSC), and DSU is an even 4-4 in road games this season. Devin Schmidt is averaging 24.4 points and 4.2 assists per game to lead Delta on the year.

SERIES HISTORY: Delta State won the first meeting this year, securing a 90-81 victory behind Schmidt's 47-point showing, and so the Statesmen now lead the series 19-14. Last year in the Rocket City, the Chargers jumped out to a 24-point lead in the first half before ultimately winning 85-79 behind 26 points from Roberts.

ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: MC is 4-11 overall on the season and 1-10 in conference play, and the team is 0-6 in road games. Four players continue to average in double figures led by Antonio Johnson who is scoring 12.5 points per contest.

SERIES HISTORY: After claiming an 80-70 win on the road on Jan. 12, UAH now holds a 4-3 edge in the all-time series with MC. The Chargers were 73-63 winners the last time the two teams met in Huntsville, and Webster scored 25 to lead UAH in that contest.
