BACK ON THE ROAD: The No. 22 UAH men's basketball team will be back in action this Thursday, traveling to West Alabama for a 7:30 p.m. tilt before heading to West Georgia on Saturday for a 3 p.m. CST contest. The Chargers enter the games at 17-5 overall and 13-3 in the Gulf South Conference.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: After stumbling 100-87 at Shorter, the Chargers rebounded in a nice way with a 92-86 victory over Lee at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall.
Seab Webster led a group of five players who scored in double figures in the victory as he poured in 26.

AROUND THE GSC: With Valdosta State's setback at Delta State on Saturday, the Chargers are Blazers are once again tied at the top of the league standings with identical 13-3 records, while Delta State and Christian Brothers are tied for third at 11-5. The fifth-place team is West Florida with its 9-7 record, while Shorter and Union are locked together at sixth at 8-8. If the postseason started today, North Alabama and its 7-9 GSC record would be the eighth seed.

RANKINGS UPDATE: After the 1-1 week last week, the Chargers slipped from No. 18 to No. 22 in the NABC Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. UAH is the lone GSC school represented in the poll, while fellow South Region school Barry climbed one position to No. 10 this week.

PROTECTING THE BALL: In the victory over Lee on Saturday, the Chargers turned the ball over just eight times, representing the seventh time this season that UAH has had less than 10 turnovers, and the team is undefeated at 7-0 in each of those seven games.

FROM DOWNTOWN: The Chargers continue to be on the best 3-point shooting teams in the conference as UAH leads the league with a 42.1 percent success rate from beyond the arc while ranking second with 10.7 triples per contest. Both Webster and
Brandon Roberts rank in the top 15 in the GSC in 3-pointers per game with Webster in fourth at 2.6 per contest and Roberts tied for 15th with 1.8 made per game.

ABOUT WEST ALABAMA: The Tigers have dropped four straight while moving to 9-12 on the season and 4-11 in conference play. Gavin Robinson leads the team with 15.4 points per contest and a team-high 8.3 rebounds per game.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH won its 50th game in the all-time series with West Alabama back on Dec. 17 with a 75-57 victory moving the Chargers to 50-21 against UWA.

ABOUT WEST GEORGIA: The Wolves enter play this week on a five-game slide ahead of Thursday's game in Carrollton against North Alabama, and the team holds an 8-13 (5-10 GSC) record. Stephaun Branch is scoring 18.9 points per game to go along with 8.5 rebounds per contest to pace West Georgia.

SERIES HISTORY: West Georgia picked up an 81-78 win over the Chargers on Dec. 15 in Huntsville, and that setback trimmed UAH's lead in the all-time series to 28-25.
