BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference released its 2017 Fall All-Academic teams and Honor Roll recipients on Thursday, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville garnered 10 GSC All-Academic honorees and 77 GSC Honor Roll awardees.
 
Anna Claire Johnson represented UAH volleyball for the third time in her career, which is the maximum number of times a student-athlete can earn the honor. She was one of three GSC student-athletes to accomplish the feat this fall.
 
UAH cross country was well represented on both sides as the Chargers had a league-high three student-athletes earn GSC All-Academic distinctions in Allison Ammons, Marlee Mason and Angel Sillivant. On the men's side, Brydon Groves-Scott notched his second career honor while Benji Knox earned the first of his career.
 
Also representing UAH on the GSC All-Academic teams included Rachel Collins (women's soccer), Corentin Diverres (men's soccer), Daniel Hearle (men's soccer), and Haley Hop (volleyball).
