DOWN THE STRETCH: The UAH men's basketball team will play its last full week of the regular season this week, starting with a Tuesday to visit to Lee which is slated for a 7 p.m. CST start before welcoming Mississippi College on Saturday at 4 p.m. UAH enters the week at 14-11 (7-10 Gulf South Conference).

SENIOR SEND-OFF: With it being the last Saturday home game of the campaign, the Chargers will honor their trio of seniors prior to the contest against MC. During the tenure of
Chayse Elliott,
Kip Owens, and
Justin Ward, UAH has amassed 88 wins, won two GSC tournament titles, two GSC regular season crowns, reached the NCAA tournament three times, and hosted two regionals that saw the Chargers reach the Round of 16.

AROUND THE GSC: UAH enters play this week in ninth, just outside of the top eight that goes to the conference tournament, but the Chargers are just one game back of Lee who is 8-9 and against whom UAH would own the tiebreaker with a win on Wednesday. North Alabama is also tied for seventh at 8-9, while the Chargers sit a game ahead of West Georgia and Mississippi College who are both 6-11.

FROM DOWNTOWN: The Chargers continue to be one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the conference, ranking first with 12.4 makes per game while ranking second with a 40.5 percent success rate from beyond the arc. Three different Chargers have hit more than 50 treys on the year with Ward leading the way with 72 followed by Elliott's 58 and
Tanner Finley who has knocked down 54.

CLEANING THE GLASS: Rebounding the ball well continues to be a strong indicator of whether the Chargers will have success in a game or not. In games where UAH has recorded less than 35 boards, the team is 5-8, while the Chargers are 9-3 – including two overtime setbacks – when grabbing 35 or more rebounds.

ABOUT LEE: The Flames enter Wednesday's game at 13-11 overall, 8-9 in GSC play, and 10-4 at home. Ryan Montgomery paces the team offensively with 10.0 points per contest, and he also leads the team on the glass with 4.8 rebounds per game.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH is now 10-3 all-time against the Flames after claiming a 91-78 victory back on Dec. 16. Elliott led a group of four players who scored in double figures in that contest as he buried three 3-pointers on his way to 18 points.

ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: The Choctaws enter play this week on a five-game slide and as owners of a 9-13 overall mark and a 6-11 record in the GSC play. Donovan Ham is scoring 15.0 points per game and has scored in double figures in four straight for MC.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH holds a slim 5-4 edge in the all-time series with the Choctaws, and it was Mississippi College who won the meeting earlier this year by a 105-93 score. Owens led the Chargers in that setback, scoring 29 while handing out seven assists.
