-UAH wrapped up the pre-Christmas slate with a road series at Ferris State, tying on Friday night -- with the Chargers earning the extra WCHA point by scoring in the 3-on-3 overttime -- before falling on Saturday. The Chargers will be off until Jan. 3 and 4 when the team travels to North Dakota for a two-game set.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
-No. 6 UAH will stay on the road Tuesday, taking on West Florida at 7:30 p.m., and the team will then return home to face off against Union on Friday at 4 p.m. UAH then will for the third year in a row take part in the Rocket City Classic, playing Spring Hill downtown at the Von Braun Center at 12 p.m. The Chargers enter the week at 8-1 (2-1 Gulf South Conference) after taking its first setback of the year at Valdosta State on Sunday.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
-The Chargers wrap up a two-game road swing on Tuesday, battling West Florida at 5:30 p.m., and UAH will then close out the pre-Christmas schedule on Friday when the team returns home to face Union at 2 p.m. UAH enters the week at 4-4 (2-1 GSC) after picking up its first road win at Valdosta State since the 1997-98 season on Sunday.
