NOTRE DAME, Ind. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's and women's track & field teams wrapped up the regular season indoor campaign at the Alex Wilson Invite hosted by Notre Dame, as the squads combined for two program records and two NCAA provisional marks.
 
Women's Notables
-Jade Johnson had a strong day in a pair of events, as she reset the program record with a first-place mark of 11.86 in the triple jump in addition to first place as well in the high jump with a leap of 1.65 meters which is just .01 meters away from the program record. Johnson's 11.86 meters in the triple jumps bests the previous record set by Johnson at 11.82 meters on Jan. 20.
 
-Johnson also improved her standing nationally in the triple jump, besting the NCAA provisional mark of 11.64.
 
-Bailey Simmons topped her personal record in the weight throw with a hurl of 14.95 meters for seventh place in the event, breaking the previous personal record of 14.80 meters recorded by Simmons on Jan. 21, 2018.
 
Men's Notables
-Trevian Jenkins broke the program record with a first-place time of 21.51 in the 200 meter, topping the previous top mark of 21.59 recorded by Kwantreyl McConico on Jan. 29, 2017.
 
-Jenkins' time in the 200 meter additionally bested the NCAA provisional standard of 21.74.
 
-Jay Day came within .01 seconds of tying the program record in the 3000 meter with a personal-best time of 8:31.58 for 20th place in the event.
