HUNTSVILLE | The NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee has released an updated list of teams that are under consideration for the 2021 Men's Basketball South Regional, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville remains featured among the eight teams announced.
 
For this year, the committee is not releasing actual rankings at this time, instead just releasing the eight teams that are in the mix for what will be a six-field team.
 
Also new for this season only, the Gulf South Conference has been paired with the Peach Belt Conference and select schools from the Sunshine State Conference that are competing.
 
UAH is joined by Lee, Union, Valdosta State, and West Georgia as GSC teams featured in the list, while the PBC is represented by Flagler, Georgia College, and Georgia Southwestern. 
 
The Chargers are 12-2 on the year and will next be in action in the opening round of the GSC tournament on Tuesday at Spragins Hall.
