UAH Breaks Five Program Records at Lee Flames Invitational

CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Lee Flames Invitational, as the squads came away with a combined total of five new program records.
 
UAH Notables
-Kaylee Stewart broke the program record and the NCAA provisional standard in the 10,000 meter race with a third-place time of 35:37.76. The previous record of 36:32.37 was set by Angel Sillivant in 2018.
-Wilson McClain again reset the program record and improved his standing nationally with a second-place time of 13.83 in 110 meter hurdles. His previous best was 14.09 on March 26 at the Mississippi State Relays.
-Harold Lacroix bested the program record in the 10,000 meter with an NCAA provisional time of 30:32.78 for 14th place overall in the event, as he was joined in the top 20 by Alex Herbst in 17th at 30:56.76 which also tops the program record of 31:09.30 set by Myles Scarano in 2015.
-Zach Hancock generated a pair of first-place marks and program records as he won the discus at 57.41 meters and the hammer at 54.89. Both marks top the NCAA provisional standard.
-Hancock additionally matched his personal best in the shot put with a fourth-place hurl of 18.14 meters.
-Serenity Andrus placed second overall in the 800 meter at a time of 2:12.83.
