NOTRE DAME, Ind. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's track & field team competed at the Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday.
 
Zach Hancock improved his standing nationally in the shot put with a third-place hurl of 18.25 meters. He also had an NCAA provisional mark in the weight throw with a fourth-place toss of 18.64 meters.
 
Michael Gizzi registered an NCAA provisional time in two events, as he finished the 60-meter dash prelims with a third-place clocking of 6.85 and notched third place in 200 meters at 21.58.
 
Wilson McClain generated a fifth-place time of 7.97 in 60-meter hurdles, which is an NCAA provisional time.
 
The Chargers Nationals qualifiers look ahead to the 2022 NCAA Division II Track & Field Indoor Championships on March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kansas.
