PITTSBURG, Kan. | The 2022 NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships wrapped up on Saturday with The University of Alabama in Huntsville being represented by All-Americans
Zach Hancock in the shot put and
Wilson McClain in 60-meter hurdles.

A native of Madison, Alabama, Hancock becomes an indoor All-American for the third time in his career and second time with a First Team distinction in the shot put as he garnered seventh overall in the event at 18.00 meters.

Hancock was the only South Region representative at Nationals in the shot put.

McClain wrapped up his 2022 indoor season with his second-straight First Team All-American performance, with the sophomore placing fourth in the 60-meter hurdles finals with a time of 7.91.

This is also McClain's third time being named an indoor All-American.

The Chargers look ahead to the start of the 2022 outdoor season at the Lee Invitational next Saturday.
