BOSTON | UAH men's track & field was represented by Sam Wilhelm at the Boston University Season Opener where the junior posted an NCAA provisional time in the 5000-meter race.
 
Wilhelm posted a time of 14:19.93 in the 5000-meter competition, which also breaks the program record of 14:28.59 set by Alex Herbst in 2021. Wilhelm finished 121st in the event on Saturday.
 
Wilhelm along with the rest of the Chargers continue the indoor schedule in the New Year on Jan. 12 at the UAB Blazer Invitational.
