NEW ORLEANS | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's track and field team remained in the USTFCCCA Division II National Ratings at No. 25 while moving up to first in the South Region.
 
The UAH women's team was additionally ranked third in the South Region.
 
The Chargers men's squad features seven six individual performances rankings in the top 35 nationally, including Michael Gizzi in 100 meters (5th, 10.23) and 200 meters (2nd, 20.56), Jeremiah McCain in 110-meter hurdles (26th, 14.32), Wilson McClain in 110-meter hurdles (8th, 13.96), Jared Tittle in the javelin (35th, 58.25) and Sam Wilhelm in 10,000 meters (13th, 29:36.57).
 
Also, UAH's 4x100 meters relay team of Gizzi, McClain, Tommy Rodriguez and Elijah Drake rate 14th nationally with a time of 40.46.
 
On the women's side, the Chargers 4x100 meters relay team of Krystalynn Oatman, Zakiria Holifield and Ijah Drake currently rank 14th nationally.
