HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's basketball team leapt into the sixth spot in this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Rankings.

The ranking is the highest the Chargers have been ranked in the NABC poll since the 2019-20 season in which they finished 26-5 with a Gulf South Conference Championship. UAH most recently was ranked No. 13 in the NABC poll.
Winners of eleven straight, the Chargers have an average margin of victory of 21.09 points per game since dropping the first game of the season in an overtime loss against No. 1 Nova Southeastern 105-104.Â
UAH is one of four teams from the South Region in the NABC Top 25 and one of two programs representing the GSC with Valdosta State slotting in at No. 25 this week.

So far this season, the Chargers offense boasts the second highest field goal percentage in the country at 53.13 percent and the fifth highest three point percentage in all of NCAA Division II at 41.72 percent.Â
