NEW ORLEANS | The UAH men's and women's track & field teams both came in the top 30 of the USTFCCCA Division II Outdoor National Ratings with the Chargers men's squad at No. 21 and the UAH women at No. 30.

Additionally, both teams are ranked second in the South Region behind fellow Gulf South Conference member Lee.

UAH's men's squad features eight marks in the top three regionally, including
Thomas Vaughn (pole vault),
Wilson McClain (110m hurdles),
Wes Egalite (110m hurdles),
Michael Gizzi (100m),
Nathan Knox (1500m),
Noah Lawler (long jump),
Jared Tittle (javelin), and
Adolfo Mireles (decathlon).

The Blue & White also have three performances ranking in the top 10 in NCAA Division II, including Gizzi in the 100-meter dash (8th, 10.44), McClain in 110-meter hurdles (5th, 14.04) and
Wes Egalite in 110-meter hurdles (8th, 14.19).

On the women's side, the Chargers are highlighted by five performances in the top two in the South Region including
Jadlyn Debardlabon (long jump), Jordy Dortch (100m, 200m),
Ivy Teachey (100m hurdles) and
Aniya Johnson (high jump) to go along with UAH's 4x100 meters relay team of
Krystalynn Oatman,
Zakiria Holifield,
Chandler Robinson and Dortch.

Debardlabon's mark in the long jump leads the way for the Chargers, ranking third nationally at a program-record 6.12 meters.
The Chargers look ahead to continuing the outdoor season at the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas, this Thursday through Saturday as well as the UAB Spring Invite in Birmingham, Alabama, on Friday and Saturday.
