EMPORIA, Kan. | The UAH men's and women's track & field teams wrapped up action at the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday with the men's squad placing 20th overall as a team.

UAH's men's team was highlighted by
Sam Wilhelm who finished in the top four of both the 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter races at Outdoor Nationals. He got on the podium on Thursday in the 10,000-meter competition with a third-place time of 29:33.77, followed by a fourth-place showing in the 5,000-meter race at a 14:42.28 clocking.

He earns First Team All-American for both performances, which gives him a total of four All-American distinctions in the 2023-24 academic season between cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.

The Chargers 4x100 meters relay squad on the men's side of
Wilson McClain,
Michael Gizzi,
Tommy Rodriguez and
Ke'Andre Campbell qualified for the finals on Saturday, finishing seventh in the final round with a time of 40.24.

UAH was additionally represented by
Wilson McClain in 110-meter hurdles (13th/14.39) on the men's side, while the Charger women featured
Jadlyn Debardlabon in the long jump (20th/5.44) and
Krystalynn Oatman,
Amiah Murry,
Chandler Robinson, and
Jordyn Dortch in the 4x100 meters relay (15th/45.89).
