BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The UAH men's and women's track teams kicked off their 2025-26 indoor campaign with a trip to the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker hosted by UAB on Friday. The Chargers posted 10 top 10 finishes at the meet across both squads.

Jadlyn Debardlabon placed seventh overall and notched a NCAA Provisional mark in the long jump with a distance of 5.73m.

Ivy Teachey placed seventh in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.83 seconds.
- Heckla Magnusdottir had a pair of top 10 finishes with a seventh place finish in the shot put at 12.64m and an eighth place finish in the long jump at 5.68m.

Wes Egalite notched a NCAA provisional mark with a time of 8.06 seconds.
- Ben Rouse cleared a height of 4.45m in the pole vault on his way to a fifth place finish.

Malik Turner leaped a distance of 7.02m in the long jump on his way to a sixth place finish in the event.
The Chargers will take a break till January 9th when they get back in action at the UAB Indoor Invitational.
