BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The UAH men's and women's track teams kicked off their 2025-26 indoor campaign with a trip to the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker hosted by UAB on Friday. The Chargers posted 10 top 10 finishes at the meet across both squads. 

Notable Performances
- Jadlyn Debardlabon placed seventh overall and notched a NCAA Provisional mark in the long jump with a distance of 5.73m. 
- Ivy Teachey placed seventh in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.83 seconds.
- Heckla Magnusdottir had a pair of top 10 finishes with a seventh place finish in the shot put at 12.64m and an eighth place finish in the long jump at 5.68m.
- In the 60m hurdles, Wes Egalite notched a NCAA provisional mark with a time of 8.06 seconds. 
- Ben Rouse cleared a height of 4.45m in the pole vault on his way to a fifth place finish.
- Malik Turner leaped a distance of 7.02m in the long jump on his way to a sixth place finish in the event.

The Chargers will take a break till January 9th when they get back in action at the UAB Indoor Invitational.
