HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's and women's track & field team will be represented at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships by
Jordyn Dortch on the women's side, as the men's side will be represented by
Sam Wilhelm, the men's DMR (
Conner Patterson,
Jaiden Young,
Adam Taylor, and
Nathan Knox), and the 4x400 meter relay team (
Chris Thomas,
Eon Morris,
Bryan Singleton, and Young).
Dortch will be competing in the 200 meters at the national meet and won the event at the 2025 Gulf South Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, where she ran her best time of the season at 23.96 seconds which was a record for the GSC event and is a program record. She will run in the 200-meter prelims at Nationals on Friday at 4 p.m. CT.
Wilhelm is the UAH record holder in both the 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters and ranks in the top 15 of both events nationally. The Knob Noster, Missouri, native was a 2nd Team All-American in the 5,000 meters last season. He will compete in the 5,000-meter race on Thursday at 5:35 p.m. CT, followed by the 3000-meter competition on Saturday at 4 p.m. CT.
The men's 4x400 meter relay is coming off of a program record at the 2025 Last Chance Qualifier at Boston University where they ran a 3:10.16 time. UAH's 4x400 meter relay team will compete on Saturday at 4:35 p.m., following the distance medley relay team competing on Friday at 5 p.m.
The 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place in Indianapolis at the Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds beginning on Thursday, March 13th.
