Track & Field Finishes Weekend at Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational and Lee Flames Invitational

HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's and women's track & field teams continued their outdoor season on Friday and Saturday in competition at the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and the Lee Flames Invitational in Cleveland, Tennessee.
 
Men's Notable Performances
-Auston Leslie took second place in the triple jump at the Lee Flames Invitational with a personal best mark of 13.79 meters.
-Eon Morris posted a provisional mark in the 400 meter hurdles at the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational with a time of 52.22.
-Jack Grizzle took first place in the pole vault at the Lee Flames Invitational as he cleared a height of 4.40 meters. 
-Will Griffin took third place in the javelin throw with a 49.90 meter throw at the Lee Flames Invitational.
-Nathan Knox had an eighth place finish in the 1500 meters at the Lee Flames Invitational with a time of 3:49.16.
 
Women's Notable Performances
-Hope Collins took third place in the 400 meter hurdles at the Lee Flames Invitational with a personal best time of 1:04.73.
-Jordyn Dortch notched a NCAA provisional time in the 200 meters at the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational with a 24.11 second time. 
-Aspen Arrowsmith notched a provisional mark and school record in the javelin throw with a 46.22 meter distance and a seventh place finish at the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational.
-Grace Hampel recorded a provisional time in the 800 meters at the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational with a time of 2:10.41.
-The 4x100 meter relay team of Deja Hines, Summer Sutherlin, Jadlyn Debardlabon, and Dortch took fourth place with a provisional time of 45.62 seconds at the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational.

Next Time Out
-The Chargers are set to compete at the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California and the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta next week.
