NEW ORLEANS | The first USTFCCCA Division II Outdoor Regional Rankings of the 2024-25 season have been released and the UAH women's and men's track & field teams placed first and second, respectively in the South Region.

On the women's side, the Chargers are highlighted by
Aspen Arrowsmith with a NCAA provisional mark and the second best mark in the javelin in the South Region at 44.71 meters. The 4x400 meter relay team of
Deja Hines,
Summer Sutherlin,
Grace Hampel, and
Jordyn Dortch has the best time in the South Region and a provisional time at 3:46.79.
UAH's men's squad is highlighted by
Eon Morris,
Conner Patterson,
Wes Ellison, and
Nathan Knox who each have hit NCAA provisional marks during the outdoor season.Â
Morris holds the 16th best time nationally in the 400 meter hurdles with a 52.86 second time. Patterson ranks 21st in the 800 meters at 1:50.89, while Ellison holds the 32nd ranked time at 1:51.39.
Nathan Knox ranks in the top 11 of both the 1500 meters and the 3,000 meter steeplechase at 3:47.98 and 9:05.75, respectively.
The Chargers look ahead to continuing the outdoor season next week at the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational and the Lee Flames Invitational.
