BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The UAH track and field team traveled to Birmingham to compete in their first action of 2026 at the UAB Blazer Invite. The Chargers hauled in 15 top five finishes at the invitational along with three NCAA provisional marks.
Notable Performances
•
Jadlyn Debardlabon posted the seventh best mark in Division II this season in the long jump, winning the event with a leap of 5.96m, which is a NCAA Division II Provisional Mark.
• In the 60m hurdles,
Wes Egalite posted a NCAA Division II Provisional Mark with a time of 8.11 seconds and a third place finish.

Malik Turner took third in the high jump, clearing 2.05m and putting up a provisional mark.
• Sebastion Guerrero took first place in the 800m at 2:03:00, while
Nathan Janes took first in the 1,000m at 2:40.68.

Hekla Magnusdottir posted a 12.83m throw in the shot put and a third place finish in the event.
