LOUISVILLE | The UAH track and field teams competed at the Louisville PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational on Friday and Saturday with 25 competitors recording personal best times along with five provisional marks at the meet.
Notable Performances
•
Hekla Magnusdottir notched a personal best, provisional mark, and school record in the women's pentathlon with 3,559 points.
•
Caroline Sanders additionally posted a personal best, provisional, and broke the previous school record in the pentathlon with 3,277 points.
• The men's 4x400m relay team of
Tommy Rodriguez,
Bryan Singleton,
Braedon Goode, and
Jaiden Young put up a national provisional mark at 3:14.55.
• Both
Aniya Johnson and
Amiah Murry bested the school record in the 400m, with Johnson clocking a 55.91 and Murry running a 55.76, both are provisional marks.

Conner Patterson ran a 4:08.26 in the mile for a personal best, and was just one second off of a school record in the event.
•
Cannon Peters was just behind Patterson with a 4:08.92 mile time for a personal best.
Next up, the Chargers will compete in Birmingham, Alabama at the UAB Indoor Invitational on February 6th and 7th.
